Small purse, saw a new design

This was made by crocheting 2 circles with 90 sc in the last round. Then holding both circles together made the sides by having 7 sc between the 2 sides, the continued the handle, then flap with a buttonhole.

I saw the pattern, that was made with thicker thread, what I loved was the side joining, it looked very cute in the pattern.It was a much smaller version just to hold some coins.

My small bag key chain

 I made this bag while I was watching some music program in our senior home, I hate wasting time, while singing is going on, one only needs to hear it, but can do something with your hand ! This is my own pattern, in the top one, the bag is closed with a small  loop and a button. In the 2nd one, I made a strap with buttonhole and button to attach to any bag. My daughter has already said that she wants this one.

The previous green pouch potli bag key-chain gave it to my doctor this morning, thought I loved ti very much as dark green with orange to tie and light green strap with buttonhole and button..  My own design.

Small hand bag to carry my cellphones anda small water bottle

 

This is my own design.

start with the number of chains according to the size you need

R1 sc in each ch, in last ch 3 sc, turn and sc on each ch till the end and last 2 sc  no need to join

R 2 sc in each sc, 3 sc in last sc and as you continue to the other side sc in each sc  and 3 sc in last

depending on how thick you need the bottom, continue in the same increasing in last sc as mentioned earlier.'

In next row as in each sc but only in back loop, no increasing at corner.

Next row sc in each sc all around

sc in 1st sc, skip on sc, make 3 dc in next ch, sc in next chm skip 2 sc 3 dc in next continue in this way.

in next row, 3 dc on sc, 1 sc on top of middle dc, continue in this way to the length you desire

to make the flap, skip a st anc continue till the st before the last one.

in each row skip the 1st and last st. to the length you desire

in the last row in the centre st make 3/4 c depending on the size of the button you want to put.

continue till the end and fasten off. 

for the handle you can make 10 ch, next row sc over each ch, continue in this way to the length you want, join the sides seeing the center. 

I joined in the last row before the flap, by folding it, find how many sc I need to make each side to get 10 sc, then last row seeing the center, joined accordingly.

small bag, can hold lip-balm if one wishes

 I made this key chain for hubby, as earlier, I had put a small cone ice-cream, which I removed. He said that it was convenient for him to hold the key or it slips off his hand. I made the bunny which I posted yesterday, he said it was too big, he wanted something small and long. Hence, I made this.

In Magic circle made 6 sc

R 2- inc in each sc ( 12 sc)

R3-5, sc in each sc

R 6- sc in back loop only

R7 to desired length make sc in each sc

After getting the desired length, in 6 sc I made sc

turn 1 ch, 6 sc in these 6 sc till the number of rows that I felt it was enough to fold.

I stuffed it with polyfil and folded the top and stitched all around the 3 sides.

Either you can join the thread in any loop and make sc, make 3 more sc

turn 1 ch and continue in sc

in last but 3 row, make 1 sc, 2 ch, 1 sc

next row turn ch, sc, make 2 sc in the ch loop, sc in last sc

make 2 more rows of sc, fasten off. OR

you can make a small strip of sc in the same way, making a small loop for the button and then sew it to the bag.

I put a small square button on it.

Small crochet bag

this bag is my design, made with multi-colored thread, big enough to hold my cell phone, specs and a small water bottle  and a small purse.
2 sc and skipped a ch, made 3 dc, skipped a ch, 2 sc, repeat the pattern around. for the handle made 3 long chains and attached on the sides.

Line-ribbed bag

This bag is my own creation. to get the pattern, use multiple of 3 stitches once you've finished the bottom of the bag, then double crochet in the 1st row
pattern row- dc in 1st 2 stitches, ftr in the 3rd stitch, ( front post tr, i.e. tr by going over the dc of the previous row), continue like this till the end.
next row,ftr in 1st , dc in next 2, repeat till the end
next row, 1 dc, 1 ftr, 2 dc, continue till the end
when you do, you'll find that ftr in each row comes in the stitch ahead of where you did in the previous row, so, it gives a nice pattern, when  you see, sorry, in the photo isn't that clear. if you've any doubt, you can mail me.

dc- double crochet
ftr- front post treble crochet

in the end just to make it a bit fancy, I made 1 dc, 2 ch, 1 dc till the end, then 2 rows of dc. Made a long chain, to go through the gaps and tie.
