Scarff with a hole

Ch according to the length you want turn

sc in 2nd ch, sc till the end, ch 1 turn

sorry forgot the pattern I made, it was a very simple one

after I made the desired length around the neck and the next side of the neck where you prefer to tie

make sc till the desired place roughly 1/3rd of the stitches, then make a ch of 10-12 then continue the pattern leaving that many stitches in the middle.

ch 1 turn continue the pattern till the loop, make 10-12 sc according the st left, continue the pattern to the desired length.

then I made the edging, by making 2 sc, then5 ch, left 5 st, sc continue the pattern till the end, ch 1 turn

2sc, then in each loop make sc, 2hdc, 3 dc, 2 hdc, sc all in a loop, continue in the same way, fasten off at the edge, repeat the same pattern on the other side.

Since it was a black scarf, just to highlight it, made 2 simple flowers to stitch on each side.

This is for my niece.

My small X-mas tree

I had made this small X-mas tree years ago. I gifted this to my physiotherapist, getting to know that she is a Christian. She knows her work well, even though she is quite young. This endeared me to her, so wanted her to feel happy. When I showed it to her, I saw the happiness in her face and true appreciation of my hard work. Only thing, the star that I had put on top earlier got lost when we shifted residence. So, made the star attached it to a small plastic stick, told her to attach it to her tree and send me the photo. There, you can see the star on top !

Little cat with skirt, flowers in hair, collar ready to go for a spin !

The basic cat design I got from amigurumi site. Then I changed the pattern of the skirt, made choker, flowers for her head and the dress with leaves. I made her tail longer than what was given, as cats have long tail, as per pattern it was short.

This our granddaughter wanted, sadly couldn't finish before she left. She said to make this and few others she wanted to make and keep for her to collect on her next visit here.

crochet bag

the basic design of the square is not mine, it is called crocodile afghan square, which I bought from Revelry. But after making 2 squares, I extended into a rectangle, then for the strap I made a long strip to join the sides and for the strap, attached by hand, got my friend to put the lining and zip, as I thought if I tried, I may spoil it ! this is made with wool. This , I hope I can keep for myself ! as many bags, I've gifted too. Our daughter loved this bag, when she came now and said she wants it, gave it to her, as I know that she will keep it safe and with love. As many bags, cell-phone bags, which I gifted to people who said they liked it, but they just seems to have dumped it somewhere, as I've never seen them using it, that really hurts.

Crochet Flower Necklace

This is my own design. I made the flowers joined them as I made, then made the chain and attached the fastener. Realised that the flowers were turning, so made a chain with 2 single crochet, joined from the back, so that solved the problem. I put a small white bead in the centre of the flowers. This again was made for my grand-daughter.

Crochet necklace

The basic pattern is from Aunt Lydia's "Classic crochet" but, I've made the flowers smaller, put the beads separately, changed the way I joined the flowers.

my crochet flowers in a crochet pot !

this is my own design. I had the flowers earlier, had kept in an earthenware pot, but as it was too simple, got the idea to make the crochet pot, with the thick thread, when I was doing something else !

crochet big flowers

Big flower- I've used 2/3 colours, as then each row of petal can be seen clearly.

R1 - in magic circle, make 3 ch, then 11 dc, total 12 dc
R 2- join to top of the 3rd ch, sl st to next sc, ch 4, * skip 1 dc, dc in next dc, ch 1 *, rep till the end, joining to the top of the 3rd ch, at this point while joining, you may change to different colour, but don't cut the thread, as you can use it for the last row to highlight the flower.
R 3- *in each ch 1 sp., make 2 ch, 3 dc, 2 ch, sl st., then sl st to the next ch space* & rep *- * till the end, joining with sl st to the 1st st.
R 4- make ch 5, join from the back of the petal to the sl st of the next petal, continue in this way, join with sl st in the 1st space.
R 5- in each ch 5, make 1 sc, 2 hdc, 3 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sc, join to 1st sc, change to 1st colour or new colour, then either make sl st. in each st., or make sc in each. As in 1 flower I made sl st in last row, in another made sc, which I felt looked better.

for leaves & stem see my previous post.

Small corchet flowers, leaves, stem

To crochet small flowers

in a magic circle, make 10/ 12 single crochet (10- if you want 5 petals, 12- for 6 petals)
R 1- I've used different colour, while joining to last sc, change to the new colour, make sc in the same place, sl st in next st., make 4 chain, * skip 1 sc, make a dc in the next sc, make a ch *, rep from * till last, join to the 3rd st. of the 1st 4 ch.
R 2- * sl st to ch space, make 2 ch, 3 dc, 2 ch & sl st in the same space, rep. till the end, so you'll get 5/ 6 petals,  join with sl st at end.

ps- those interested in having little more colour, instead of cutting the 1st colour thread, can use it to change colour while joining with sl st., then make either sl st, in each ch. or make a sc in each, join & fasten off.

Leaf- make either 7/ 11 ch depending on the length of the leaf
R 1- in 2nd ch from the hook, make sc, in next ch, make  1 hdc ( for short leaf), 2 hdc for longer leaf, 2 dc for shorter leaf, 3 dc for longer leaf, then 1/ 2 hdc, then sc, sl st, fasten off.

For stem-

for longer stem, I made 21 ch, then sc in 2nd ch from hook till the end, then 3 sc in last ch, then on the other side of the ch., sc till the end, last sl st , fasten off.

for smaller stem, I made with 16 ch., in the same way as above.
