Yellow and Blue ball to hang in the bag

 My younger grandson wanted the ball in yellow and blue, finished it now. Tomorrow will make the strap, join and put the button

It is tricky to join it, unlike what I did in the 1st ball, in which the lady said to have a long thread to join the pieces. In this, I joined with normal stitching thread around all joints.

 I made this 3 coloured ball from a site. Made the strap to hang in the bag for my elder grandson. The next one making in the colour he wanted. Looks tricky a bit to do.

Indian Doll 2 with Jewelry

This doll for my granddaughter, she didn't want the hair plaited. I made choker, necklace,bangles for her. The dress, choker, necklace, bangles, hair, eyes, eyebrows, bindi, nose, mouth, ears, ear stud all my own ideas. It took me long to get the correct hair for her, made twice, took it out, as I wasn't happy. Today finished the hair, joined, it, then stitched her bangles, made the necklace last for her.

Indian Doll

 

Parts of the doll from a site, shoes, dress, hair, necklace, bangles, are my own design. Someone wanted it wasn't willing to pay for my labour and cost on materials used. It took me almost 7 hours to make both legs only, as each round had to make using markers to get the correct shape and filling with polyfil tightly. Once the person didn't reply, told my DIL have no mind to remove what I've made, I told her that she can gift/ sell it, she said she'll keep if I can make her with Indian dress, hair, necklace and bangles, managed by God's grace. Her eyes, eyebrow, tilak, mouth are my idea. She is a foot tall.  Now seeing it, my daughter wants one too now, next on my agenda to keep me busy.
