Indian Doll

 

Parts of the doll from a site, shoes, dress, hair, necklace, bangles, are my own design. Someone wanted it wasn't willing to pay for my labour and cost on materials used. It took me almost 7 hours to make both legs only, as each round had to make using markers to get the correct shape and filling with polyfil tightly. Once the person didn't reply, told my DIL have no mind to remove what I've made, I told her that she can gift/ sell it, she said she'll keep if I can make her with Indian dress, hair, necklace and bangles, managed by God's grace. Her eyes, eyebrow, tilak, mouth are my idea. She is a foot tall.  Now seeing it, my daughter wants one too now, next on my agenda to keep me busy.

Small Purse With Handle

I got order for this purse from a friend, who was waiting eagerly for it, she came in the morning, as I was engrossed in finishing the doll, it took me time to start making it.  The idea and pattern my own, stitched a flower at the back.
