afghan- crochet, woolen cushion covers- crochet, scarf with pockets

This was the 1st afghan that I had made by seeing a pattern. It was almost 35 years ago, when  I was still a novice with crochet. This was made by making no. of squares you want, then join in any square in a corner, make 3 sc, then sc on the side of the square, then at the end continue by doing sc in the next square , continue in the same way.
Depending on the colours you've, you can use same colours,, having same no. of rows on both side, then change the colour. Or you can continue as you please.

In the top picture, you can see my husband wrapped up in the afghan I've made. You can also see the red & black afghan spread on the sofa & a ripple afghan in the back of the sofa. If you look carefully, you can view the crochet woolen cushion covers .

In the 2nd picture, I've got the scarf with pockets, as in winter, one can simply put your hands in those big pockets to keep you warm, also you can keep your small purse, keys, cell in these pockets ! The afghans, scarf, cushion covers are my own designs, hope you like them. Anyone interested, can mail to find the
design ! they're quite simple. Next shall try to send a close up of the scarf.

crochet scarf with button

this scarf was made specially for my daughter-in-law. It was finished in less than 3 hours, made with single & double crochet & in between for the button to put, there is no hole, so made a few lines with double crochet, so the gap is big enough to put to button it ! This will keep the neck warm.

ps- for cancer, kindly see my cancer blog, where also health tips are given.

small scarf to keep your neck warm

this scarf I finished in about 4 hours, not crocheting continuously. It has a hole towards the end, to put the other end & keep your neck real warm in winter. All the best to all those where it is already snowing now. Want the pattern, just mail me, it is very simple.
